Author's Bio

My name is Dr. Jerry W. Hulse, and I am a retired 43-year veteran of the over-the-road trucking industry, well known worldwide for my CB Radio handle, call sign “The Guardian Angel." This handle, a symbol of my commitment to helping others, has become synonymous with my persona. My time as an over-the-road trucker has given me a wealth of experience to bring to my writing. With over eighteen books to my name, many of which were penned as an over-the-road trucker, I have encountered people from all walks of life, each with unique stories and challenges. My unique storytelling style is as distinctive as it is compelling. My deep desire, as shown in my writings, is to highlight the social issues often present in urban settings and ensure the voices of those frequently overlooked are heard.

In 2017, God made a way for me to be recognized by Don Stewart Ministries and Miracle Life Church International Ministries, which helped open doors of opportunity for my wife and me throughout the Philippines. I am blessed to be an ordained International Evangelist representing Miracle Life Church International under Bishop Felipe Ping Alba. Bishop Ping served as the International Director of Apostle Don Stewart's Evangelical International ministry, and had been with him since he was sixteen years old. This past June 15, 2025, my wife, Augustina, and I were blessed to be recognized and placed under the mentorship of Dr. W.V. Grant & Eagles Nest Churches, Inc., based in Dallas, Texas. This significant event marked a new chapter in our evangelistic journey. This mentorship was established to evangelize the Philippines, a mission to which my wife and I are deeply committed.

I have a new book coming out soon through Booklocker.com. It is titled "Escapades of Grace." The storyline of this book delves into the compelling and often tumultuous journey of a young woman named Rose. Once a streetwalker, navigating the harsh realities of urban life, she faced numerous challenges—poverty, addiction, and rejection. Her life was one of adventure, even if it wasn’t fun or safe. As you read about her struggles, hope, and resilience in seeking answers and support during difficult times, you can and will relate to her, realizing you are not alone in your journey. And through the power of God, you can overcome adversity just like Rose did.
